10. Widen Your Perspective
Chicago is known for its world-renowned collection of museums, among many other things. The Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the stand-outs in the city’s repertoire. Established in 1967, the Museum is one of the world’s largest venues for contemporary art. On Tuesdays, admission is free for Illinois residents. Step in and get lost viewing thousands of art exhibits, or take in a free concert during their annual summer series, “Tuesdays on the Terrace,” which spotlights acclaimed jazz artists from the Chicago music scene. And if you’re looking for even MORE free things to do in Chicago, find them here!
