This may happen 12 times a year, but you don’t want to miss it when it comes around! There is enough to do to create an entirely different experience each month. If this is your first time going, start your evening at the Blue Star Arts Complex. The Art Center unveils new exhibits the night before and stays open til 9 p.m. for First Friday merrymakers. Enjoy live music, drinks and art spanning over many block! The party doesn’t need to end there—shop the galleries, gaze and gawk at the skillful work of artisans, get tipsy at Bar 1919 or enjoy dinner and beer at Blue Star Brewing Co. Get adventurous and explore the rest of Southtown, too. Next month, dress according to theme, join the Pub Run and head home with Uber. Sweat off the calories as you drink them in!
