10. The Disneyland of music venues.

Yet another historic theater, (something San Antonio does not lack!) this venue was built in 1926. The really fun and interesting interior is inspired by Aztec, Mixtec, Zapotec, Toltec, and Mayan cultures. There’s even a two-ton chandelier adorning the ceiling in the theater lobby that was added the same day the stock market crashed in 1929. With bars upstairs and downstairs, there are plenty of places to be, whether you are dancing it up below or sitting in the balcony above. This place is all about grandeur as it harkens back to the early days of Art Deco movie theaters. Patricia Schultz listed this in her famed travel book among the 1000 Places to See Before You Die so get out there and see it!
